Couponing Lingo

There are so many words and abbreviations that go along with couponing!  It can be a bit daunting when you are starting out.  Here's a list to help you decipher them:

Sunday Coupon Inserts:
SS - SmartSource
RP - RedPlum
P&G - Proctor and Gamble
GM - General Mills
KG - Kellogg

Abbreviations:
OOP - Out of Pocket
Q - Coupon
MQ - Manufacturer's Coupon
IP - Internet Printable
BOGO or B1G1 - Buy One, Get One Free
MIR - Mail In Rebate
OYNO - On Your Next Order
WYB - When You Buy
RC - Rain Check
FAR - Free After Rebate

Stores/Store Specific:
RA - Rite Aid
SCR - Single Check Rebate, rebate program at Rite Aid
Wags - Walgreens
RR - Register Reward, Walgreens
MBQ - Meijer Mealbox Coupon

Other:Catalina - Coupon that prints out at the register.  It is often a coupon for a product or a $/$$ coupon.
Peelies - Coupons that are located on a product.  Coupons that can be peeled off to use.
Blinkies - Coupons located in a small coupon dispenser with a blinking red light. 
Hangtags - Coupons that are hanging on a product.
Tearpads - Coupons located on a pad that can be torn off.
