Spring Has Sprung!!

Can you tell what these are?  Cherry blossom trees in honor of spring!  These are the artwork of Ellie and two of her friends.  All around the age three!  Pretty cute, huh!  And simple to do......

What You Need:
*Paint - We used tempera paint which is on sale at Hobby Lobby this week!!
*Sponge brush
*Q-Tips
*Cardstock but any paper would be fine!  Cardstock is just a little sturdier.

What to Do:
*Have your child put on a smock or a painting shirt - One of your old shirts works great for this.  It's big so it covers them entirely!
*With a sponge brush (this are GREAT to have and cheap), paint your child's hand and arm.  Place the painted part on the cardstock.  You may want to guide them a bit.  Older children could probably do this on their own.
*Use Q-tips to paint the cherry blossoms and the grass.  You could also use fingers for this part!

The girls and I have been doing a tree for every season!  I'll have to take a picture for you to see :)

What crafts have you been doing with your kiddos?  Feel free to share a link in the comments!
