Thank You Thursday......Would Like Your Thoughts

Thank You Thursday has been a regular part of this blog from the start!  Before I even started blogging, I was contacting companies.....lots of companies......and getting lots of coupons in return.  As couponing has become more popular and has attracted more attention (thank you, Extreme Couponing), it seems that companies are not sending out the coupons that they once were. 

My thoughts......I'm thinking it's time to say goodbye to Thank You Thursday.  It seems to me and a few friends that I had asked to email some companies as well that, for the most part, the time put into emailing companies is not worth the amount of coupons received in return.  I would, however, encourage you to continue emailing companies from time to time as a way to say thanks, to give back, to make someone smile.  But with the expectation that you will not receive coupons in return.

What are your thoughts?  I would certainly consider continuing this feature if there is interest.  It probably wouldn't be a weekly feature, maybe a monthly feature.  Maybe something along the lines of "Look what I got in the mail" with help from readers.  I'm open to ideas or we can just say goodbye to Thank You Thursday.  What do you think?

Country Fresh - $.75/1 Country Fresh product - I used this last night to pick up some ice cream at Hardings.  I'm making ice cream jello for Thanksgiving dinner!

The coupons are starting to come in!!  Here's a list of the coupons I received this week with a link to the contact page for the company!!

Sara Lee - $1/1 Sara Lee Sweet Goods, Sara Lee Deli, Hillshire Farm, Jimmy Dean or State Fair product
Birds Eye - $.35/1 Birds Eye Product
Chiquita - (2) $1/1 Chiquita Fruit or Veggie Bites (12oz+)
Scrubbing Bubbles - FREE up to $4.50 and a coupon booklet filled with SC Johnson coupons.  I did compliment them on one of their cleaning products but I may have also mentioned the awful smell of the Bathroom Cleaner Power Sprayer thing.  That could have been the reason for the FREE coupon.
