January Swagbucks Challenge.....Time for the Giveaway!!

Is it really February?  I just can't believe we are already through the first month of the year!  Since today is February 1, that means the January Swagbucks Challenge is over and it's giveaway time!

Can You Guess How Much I Spent + Giveaway!!

I had a GREAT trip to Meijer today and I have so many things that I want to share but I just won't have enough time before I head to work so I thought I would turn this into a giveaway!   Here's how it will work:

YoCrunch Greek Yogurt Review and Giveaway!

I had the opportunity to give YoCrunch Greek Nonfat Yogurt a try this past week.  If you can believe it, this was my first time trying Greek yogurt so I really wasn't sure what to expect. 

After the first few bites, I was pleasantly surprised.  The texture definitely took a few bites to get used to but the flavor was wonderful!  I'm pretty partial to strawberry yogurt so that's what I picked up from the store to try and was certainly not disappointed.  It had a very strong strawberry flavor.  I also liked that it filled me up pretty quickly.  It it a good source of protein and really made a good snack between lunch and dinner.  In fact, I wasn't able to finish the entire container.  I ended up sharing some with Cailynn (who gobbled it right up).

The 30 Day Giving Challenge: Donate Your Books to the Library!

What do you do with books when you've finished reading them?  Do you put them on a bookshelf never to be touched again?  Do you pass them on to a friend? 

Consider donating them to your local library!  While I do have some favorites that will remain in my bookshelves forever, I have plenty of books that will not be opened again.  Typically I put them in a box, bring it down to the basement and wait for my next garage sale.  But this month I plan to take a box of books to my local library.

30 Day Giving Challenge: Send a Card or Letter

We all love getting a letter or a card in the mail, don't we?  A note from a friend just to say hi.  But with email and Facebook, it seems that sending a letter or a card for no special reason is almost non-existent.  Write a letter to your grandparents that live hours away and add a picture of the family.  Write to a friend that you haven't talked to in awhile.  Write to someone that has been going through a rough time. 

Get your kids involved:  Have your kids make a card for someone special in their lives.....for no special occasion!  When I told Cailynn that we were going to make cards yesterday, she asked, "Who's birthday is it?"  Oops!  So I let her choose who to write to and what she wanted to say.  This is what she had me write to her grandparents:

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
We love you!  We love to kiss you.  We love to hug you.  We love to see you.

Ok, I did change the "I" to "we" since it was from both of them but wouldn't that just melt your heart.
