Kmart Doubles Has Been Confirmed

Kmart Doubles is returning!  Select Kmart stores will be doubling coupons on April 4 - April 10!! 

It looks like some West Michigan stores will be participating.  So sad that the two Kmarts by me closed in February!  Go here to see if a store near you is participating!

Kmart: The End of Doubles

Well, it looks like it is true! Ally, a Kmart employee, left me a comment last week that Kmart was ending the doubles promotion that was supposed to last until December 19 in Michigan Kmarts. I stopped by my Kmart today while I was out and it is true, at least for my Kmart. I don't quite get Kmart's practices but I wasn't surprised. They seem to be known for changing promotions while they are going. So, it was great while it lasted. Wish it had lasted longer but, hey, I got some great deals!

Deal Squirrel found Viva two pack paper towels at her local Kmart for $4.00. There is a coupon available here for $2.00 off any two pack or larger Viva redeemable at Kmart. Use your "Shop Your Way" Rewards card to get it doubled up to $4 for FREE paper towels.

I found these at my Kmart (Kalamazoo) for $4.85 so $.85 for two rolls after the double! Not bad for Viva!

Kmart Doubling Update!

From what I have been reading, it looks like the only stores participating in this promotion are select stores in Michigan! I have read that stores in Kalamazoo, Portage, and Grand Rapids are all doubling. Is yours doubling? Let us know.

Here are some of the guidelines for this promotion:
*Must have and use your Shop Your Way Rewards card.
*5 coupons doubled per day.
*Can double coupons up to $2 (doubling to $4).
*Promotion lasts until 12/19! I have read other dates on other blogs but the sign at my store did say 12/19. So it may vary by store.

My Kmart Trip: 11/11

Kmart is, indeed, doubling!! There were several signs at my Kmart giving information about the promotion! It appears to be limited to a select number of stores so be sure to give your store a call and find out if your store is participating!

All you need to do is sign up for their Kmart Shop Your Way Rewards card. It's not a credit card, just a rewards card that will help you to earn % back. You can even sign up for it right at the register!

*You can double up to 5 coupons each day.
*You can double coupons up to $2 (doubling to $4).
*Promotion runs through 12/19.
I can't remember the limit of like coupons but I believe it was 4. I will get the rest of the guidelines to you as soon as I find them!

***Be sure to have them scan your rewards card before you start!

I have a Kmart just down the road from me now. It will be so easy to run there daily and get in on these deals! I'm so excited! When I get a list of matchups, I will post them. In the meantime, I will post the deals as I get them!!

KMart: Doubling 5 Coupons/Day in Some Areas

It looks like some Kmarts are doubling up to 5 coupons a day for people with a Shop Your Way Rewards card. You can sign up online or in the store. If you sign up in the store, you will get your card immediately! It has been reported that this will be going on until December 19!!

****Make sure that you scan your card first!!

Unfortunately, not all stores are doing this promotion and since most employees aren't aware of the promotions, calling won't help. I did read that my store, Portage, MI, is doubling. It looks like the stores that normally do the doubles promotion are also doing this one. Please let us know if your store is doubling!!

Kmart Doubles Drama

No one seems to know what is going on with Kmart Doubles next week (starting 9/27)! I received an email from Kmart's corportate office that suggested they were doubling all coupons up to $2 (doubled to $4). More recently, others have been getting emails that Kmart will only be doubling P&G coupons. Since most P&G products are overpriced and the coupons are for small amounts, it probably won't be worth the trip. The store managers don't seem to know what the promotion is either so we will have to wait until Sunday to find out!!

I am reading online, most people are finding that their stores are doubling all coupons, not just P&G. One store in my area - Holland, MI - has been confirmed as doubling all coupons $2 and under. Still in the process of moving so I will try to find a list of freebies and cheap items for Kmart! Kmart Doubles - 9/27 - 10/3

Right when I mention that Kmart is no longer doing doubles this year, they announce their next doubles event, starting 9/27! I wish I had pictures of my Kmart doubles shopping trips in the past so you can see just how awesome it is!! On one trip I spent $1.50 and got multiples of toilet paper, paper towels, vaseline for men lotion, dish soap, hand soap, toothpaste, cereal, baby wipes, and more! For $1.50!!

Here are the rules for doubles:
*You can double up to and including coupons with a $2 value. That means that a $2 coupon will be doubled to a $4 coupon, a $1 coupon will be doubled to a $2 coupon. A $3 coupon will not be bumped up to $4.
*There is a limit of 4 like coupons per transaction.
*You can only double 10 coupon when you have $25 or more in purchases. This is before manufacturer's coupons so it should be easy to get to $25.
*Kmart does not give coupon overage so if the item you are buying costs less than the doubled coupon, the register will adjust accordingly. For example, when I bought disposable razors, the cost was $3.79. I had a $2 coupon so it only took $3.79 off.
